If financial strategy and money mindset had a baby, that baby would be me.

A beautiful bouncing 5 feet and 8 inches of straight-talking, shit-kicking support for service-based business owners and experts who have worked hard to bring the money in, but don’t feel confident knowing what to do with it once it’s there.

That might look like knowing you’ve earnt some money this month, but not knowing how much. It might look like knowing how much you’ve earnt, but not knowing if you can afford to pay yourself. Or it might look like earning £x a month, and not even knowing what you don’t know – other than that you’re sick to death of feeling like you’re not in control of your money, when you should be the one setting the rules.

You work for your money, and your money should work for you in return.

As a qualified Financial Advisor and certified Trauma of Money™ practitioner, I help you understand and manage your money so that you can go from feeling confused and embarrassed to confident and empowered.

As your money bestie/financial fairy godmother, I make sure we’re having fun whilst we’re doing it.

And as a financial strategist and money coach specialising in working with female business owners, I’m helping women build the wealth we’ve been denied for too long.

The perfect middle of the Venn diagram.

If I do say so myself 💁‍♀️

All too often we’re taught that money mindset comes first, and financial strategy comes second.

But I’m here to ✨disrupt✨ that idea, because when you put the strategy & systems in place first, you’re better placed to deal with the mindset issues that then come up.

That way, you can use both to serve your financial goals – whether that’s hitting a number every month that feels stretchy, starting your investing journey, or giving yourself the permission to go on holiday in peak season.

No judgement.

Part of being a certified Trauma of Money™ practitioner is understanding all the ways that shame hinders our relationship with money, so this is a safe space, where I won’t pass any negative judgement about anything you tell me.

And part of the reason I started this business was to destigmatise finances for females in particular – because lest we forget, we were only allowed our own credit cards / bank account / homes, etc less than 50 years ago.

My money journey.

Plus, my journey into this began as learning how to navigate my own battle with debt, so I understand from personal experience, too.

I grew up on a council estate with very little, and was always told that one day I could go out and get a job, and earn my own money to buy things. So, as soon as I could, I did. Thanks to an admin error from student finance (and having to pay my accommodation fee up-front 🫣), I began my adult life deep into my overdraft, and that’s where I operated from for years. I was working full time just to afford to live, and didn’t have anything to show for it.

A lot of my clients have “Oh S***” moments, when they decide that something has to change. They’re different for everyone, but mine was when I was applying for a second credit card to be able to afford end-of-the-month groceries. By this point, I was around £5k* in debt, which  was more money in one lump sum than I’d ever had in my life. And, crucially, I didn’t have it. I knew I had to change something.

What began as an anonymous instagram account documenting paying off my debt  soon became a financial education platform, and it was here that I realised I wasn’t just good at solving my own money problems – I was great at solving other people’s too.

*(Depending on where you’re at, £5k might seem like a lot, or not very much. I’m only saying it because I’m committed to financial transparency – please don’t use it to beat yourself up!)

How I work

I’m not here to say Follow the exact steps I went through and you’ll achieve your goals, because what worked for me might not work for you. (For example, the panny-d helped curb some of my ‘going out-out’ spending, but I wouldn’t recommend that as a strategy…) But the underlying principles, systems and strategies I learnt and created will.

Maybe most importantly of all, I have a very fluffy cat.
